Halloween Events begin at 2:00 pm.
On Thursday, October 31st events will begin at 2:00 with a costume parade outside (weather permitting) and classroom
parties immediately after. Students may be excused by parents/guardians to go home and
change during or after their lunch period, or they may also bring a costume to change into in the
afternoon. Students must be signed out in the office and signed back in upon return. Please note
that students will not be released prior to their lunch period, as it is important to maximize
instructional time each day at Highland Park.
The following are lunch times for each class:
Kindergarten Classes 10:50-11:25
1st Grade Classes 11:15-11:50
2st Grade Classes 11:35-12:10
Mrs. Baer/Ms. Doverspike/Mr. Zschokke 11:55-12:30
Mrs. Gutierrez/Mr. Festerling/Ms. Seder/Mr. Wolfe 12:15-12:50
Mrs. Herrera/Mrs. Robinson/Ms. Trout/Mrs. Smith 12:35-1:10
Parents, please use discretion in selecting costumes for your children. Please no blood, gore,
or weapons of any type (guns, knives, swords, lasers, etc.) Also, private parts of the body must
be covered as per the Student Dress Code found in the student handbook.
