Student Absences and Excuses

posted Feb 11, 2016, 9:42 AM by Elizabeth Decesaro

One criteria of a student’s success in school is regular and punctual attendance.  Frequent absences or tardies may lead to poor academic work, lack of social development and possible academic failure.  Regular attendance is of utmost importance for school interest, social adjustment and scholastic achievement.  According to the District policy, all student absences must be called in to the school office by 11:30 A.M on the day of the absence.  The office phone number is (719) 549-7560.
